The Fab Lab at The Island School in Limassol, Cyprus, is a dynamic creative and technical hub consisting of three purpose-built rooms designed to support hands-on learning, innovation, and design fabrication. The rooms are equipped with a range of advanced digital fabrication tools, including a vacuum former, strip heater, and several 3D printers, allowing users to easily bring their designs to life. The 3D printers can be accessed remotely, enabling students and community members to manage their print jobs even when off-site. A laser cutter is also available, capable of cutting thin sheet materials with precision, and is already being widely used by the local community for external projects. In addition, this room contains a variety of hand tools and vices, suitable for both simple and complex assemblies, as well as general fabrication work.

The second room provides a more focused workspace for electronics, light fabrication, and design work. It features Mac laptops for digital design and programming, along with facilities for drilling using a pillar drill and cutting thin sheet materials with a bandsaw. Users can also solder components, making this room ideal for projects that combine digital and physical elements.

The third room serves as a traditional woodworking space, equipped with all the essential tools and machinery needed for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood. It provides students with the opportunity to develop craftsmanship and practical building skills in a safe, well-resourced environment.

Together, these three rooms form a comprehensive fabrication environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and innovation among students and the broader community.
