Param Makersadda Whitefield is a public-access makerspace of Param Foundation, a Bengaluru non-profit public trust, and Bharat's open-innovation playground — a hands-on, multidisciplinary space in Whitefield, Bengaluru. It is built on one belief: anyone can innovate, and the people closest to a problem are usually best placed to solve it.

It's a Commons Lab where students, makers, artists, entrepreneurs and everyday citizens turn raw ideas into working prototypes across disciplines: woodworking and light fabrication, multi-material FDM 3D printing, laser cutting, a full electronics and IoT bench, robotics, AR/VR and software — all supported by mentorship and a maker community. Our philosophy: build fast, fail smart, learn faster, use whatever works, stay playful, and always start with a crude version 1, then iterate. Heavy fabrication, PCB and CNC machining are done with Param's Manufacturing Makers Lab; advanced robotics and simulation are available.

Driven by Param Foundation's vision of a billion innovators — empowered by transdisciplinary learning and rooted in their communities — we run trainer programmes (fabrication, electronics, robotics, design thinking, documentation) and innovation programmes (hackathons, think-a-thons, maker challenges, micro-grant prototyping and public showcases). We empower a local makers community and connect it outward to national and international maker networks, and to industry, startups, colleges, universities and schools. Independent, but not isolated: locally rooted, globally connected.
