On the 22nd of July 2024 Fab-lab Sahinbey opened as Resilience Innovation Facility in Gaziantep. The Resilience Innovation Facility, implemented in cooperation with the Sahinbey Municipality and IOM Türkiye, provides a place to prototype, create, mentor, and invent a place for learning and innovation. The facility will protect and preserve space for the most vulnerable young people with varying educational levels to access courses, equipment, and mentoring opportunities. The facility in the University of Gaziantep will operate an open-door policy to offer digital, technology, and entrepreneurial skills training to university students and refugees or potential migrants who have had limited access to higher education and training opportunities.
