Teiji Kimball has spent his life trying to make a positive difference in the lives of others. His career spanned over thirty-five years in technology beginning with the first personal computers; software and hardware development; network design and implementation; and consulting. As an IBM employee he helped design and develop seven patentable technologies in cable modems, network load balancing and routers. He led three research facilities in the development of event driven business intelligence systems for the Global Financial Services sector. He is currently working on new technology patents in Biometric Data Security and Personalization; and Artificial Wisdom, which is the next step beyond Artificial Intelligence and the utilization of “Big Data” in holistic artificial decision making.
As a technology and business leader he has had the privilege to work with some the most prestigious companies, researchers and executives on six continents. He recently left a mobile technology company as the Chief Technology Officer to pursue his dream and passion of preparing people to engage and change their futures with a “Pay it Forward” attitude.
He founded the Education to Excellence Foundation (E2E), whose goal is to develop Middle and High School Students thinking at a graduate level, College Students thinking at a Corporate Executive Level and Vocational Students thinking like entrepreneurs. E2E developed a Vocational Academic Uniform Leadership Training (VAULT) program to achieve these goals. He is also the President of the Beta Theta Lambda Educational Foundation which strives to put into action the National Programs and Initiatives of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
He is a former Durham Planning Commissioner, Chief Election Judge, and is an Associate Minister at Saint James Baptist Church in Durham, North Carolina. He works and shares his experience to help others reach and achieve their highest potential.
