Greetings, I'm Raiza; I'm an aesthetic doctor and I work in a company that researches and manufactures aesthetic and sports technologies using cryotherapy. The term cryotherapy literally means "cold therapy". Therefore, any use of ice or application of cold for therapeutic purposes is cryotherapy. In other words, cryotherapy is the therapeutic application of any substance to the body, resulting in the removal of body heat and thus lowering of tissue temperature.
