Hi all,

I'm Nisha. I've been in the fab lab community since 2015. My main contributions include mentoring students of all ages with digital fabrication machines and techniques to create products prototypes and projects out of their ideas.

2015 - Attended the first Pre-Fab Academy at Fab Lab Trivandrum (Kerala, India).

2016 - Attended the first batch of Fab Academy at Fab Lab Trivandrum. Graduated and attended Fab 12 Ceremony at Shenzhen, China.

2016-2017 - Technology Innovation Fellow at Kerala Start Up Mission, Kerala, U.A.E.

(Projects done:
1. Setting up digital fabrication machines and providing trainings in colleges/ institutions like Higher Colleges of Technology, University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates UAE, Fab Lab U.A.E, HP Innovation Garage.
2. Delegating Edutech in global exhibitions and events such as Gitex, QitCOMM.
3. Designing CSR Initiatives and competitions like EGA Aluminium Design Challenge.
4. Setting Up STEAM Labs in schools like Amity School, GEMS Heritage Indian School, Regent International School, Arbor School and so on. Setting Up Makerspace in Khalifa Park Library (Maktaba)
5. Creating Educational After School Programs, Summer/ Winter Camps, Progressive learning courses for schools, libraries (Maktaba and Dubai Public Library) and events like Dubai Design Week.

2020 - Chief Educational Operator at Unopedia.com (I support the educational efforts of Unopedia.com remotely and curate STEAM as well as PBL Content for the platform.)

2020 - Present - Fab Lab Operator at Al Jazri Lab, House of Wisdom, Sharjah
