Another thing to keep in mind is that if you are going to have custom pet portraits done, then you should have a minimum of two photos taken of your pet. Having two pictures is a good rule of thumb so that you can get an idea of how your pet will look when it appears in its natural environment. Always make sure that you have two different photographs, one of your pet at its normal size and one of it in its smaller size. When you have two photographs of your pet, it will be easier to select the right one for your custom pet portrait. If you do not have two different photographs then chances are that you will not be able to obtain a close up image of your pet which could make the portrait much more beautiful and interesting to look at.
