Bio

I am a systems engineer and project management specialist with a strong passion for digital prototyping, technology, and process optimization. My professional profile combines deep technical knowledge with a strategic mindset, focused on continuous improvement, efficient project execution, and the development of innovative technological solutions.

Since 2022, I have played a key role in the formalization, consolidation, and growth of the FabLab at Universidad EAN in Bogotá, Colombia. The FabLab is a digital fabrication and prototyping laboratory dedicated to experimentation, hands-on learning, and the development of projects with academic and industry impact. Currently, I serve as the Sustainability and Administration Lead of the FabLab, where I oversee its operation, maintenance, technological evolution, and continuous improvement, ensuring long-term sustainability and alignment with institutional goals.

I have extensive and in-depth knowledge of digital fabrication technologies, with a strong focus on rapid prototyping, 3D printing (FDM and SLA), laser cutting, 3D modeling, electronics, and software development. My technical background allows me to approach fabrication processes holistically, from design and programming to functional validation, enabling me to lead interdisciplinary innovation projects within the academic environment.

In parallel with my professional experience, I successfully completed the Fab Academy, graduating in July last year, which further strengthened my hands-on, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary approach to digital fabrication. I also completed a specialization in project management, providing me with solid tools to plan, structure, and execute technology-driven projects efficiently, with a strong focus on optimization, sustainability, and resource management.

I am particularly interested in process improvement, automation, and system optimization, as well as in designing efficient technological solutions that create real value. I strongly believe in learning through experimentation, collaborative work, and the role of technology as a key driver of innovation in both academic and professional environments.
