Our STEM Fab Lab is a dynamic, interdisciplinary maker space designed to bridge academic concepts with real-world digital fabrication. Built as an inclusive learning environment, the lab empowers students, educators, and local innovators to transform creative ideas into functional physical prototypes. By combining a rigorous STEM curriculum with the global Fab Lab charter, we cultivate critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and practical technical literacy.
Core Capabilities & Technical Equipment
Additive & Subtractive Manufacturing: Equipped with multi-material FDM and SLA 3D printers, precision desktop CNC routers, and CO2 laser cutters for rapid prototyping across wood, acrylic, and soft materials.
Electronics & Physical Computing: Specialized workstations featuring microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32), sensor arrays, oscilloscope testing gear, and precision soldering stations.
Traditional Fabrication & Assembly: A complete array of power tools, hand tools, and modular workbench spaces suited for mechanical assembly, woodworking, and structural frame design.
Design & Simulation Suite: Dedicated CAD/CAM workstations loaded with 3D modeling software, PCB layout programs, and open-source design suites.
Specialization & Educational Programs
The lab specializes in project-based STEM education, focusing on mobile robotics, Internet of Things (IoT) applications, renewable energy solutions, and assistive technologies. We run structured maker modules, hardware hackathons, and teacher-training initiatives that guide learners through the entire design-think-build lifecycle.
