The Trần Mai Ninh STEM Lab is designed as a flexible, resource-rich learning environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and resilience. Moving away from traditional lectures, the lab encourages students to actively engage in real-world problem-solving. In action, students investigate critical environmental issues like water filtration and climate sustainability, build engineering structures such as wind-powered devices and earthquake-resistant models, and develop computational thinking through advanced coding and sensor applications.
Rather than standard instructors, teachers here act as mentors and facilitators, guiding students through the process of inquiry, design, and reflection. This supportive atmosphere allows students to embrace trial and error as a natural part of innovation.
