Shahm Digital Lab (SDL), located in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia, is a fully operational digital fabrication laboratory designed to meet the technical and educational standards of the global Fab Lab network. The facility is structured to provide open access, hands-on technical training, and prototyping infrastructure, fully supporting the principles of the Fab Charter.

The lab is equipped with standard digital fabrication tools and specialized technical departments to enable users to prototype and manufacture complete hardware and software integration projects:

Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing): Equipped with precision FDM printers, including CR-10 Smart Pro units, enabling high-resolution 3D modeling, CAD-to-G-code workflows, and physical prototyping.

Subtractive Manufacturing & Laser Cutting: Features dedicated laser cutting and engraving machinery for precise processing of various materials (wood, acrylic, cardstock) along with vector design workflows.

CNC Machining: Includes CNC routing and milling machinery for structural fabrication, heavy material shaping, and mechanical parts production.

Embedded Systems & Arduino Workstations: Serving as the core control setup, this section is fully stocked with Arduino microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and breadboarding equipment for IoT and embedded programming (C/C++).

Electronics & Circuit Assembly: A dedicated electronics lab equipped with soldering tools, multimeters, power supplies, and essential components for testing and assembling custom electronic circuits.

Robotics & Artificial Intelligence: A specialized domain dedicated to mechanical robot assembly, motor control (servos/DC), sensor integration, and basic AI algorithms for autonomous systems.

Digital Design & Vinyl Cutting: Features Cricut Maker 3 machines for precision decal cutting, flexible circuit masking, and graphical production.
