The MAV VW eLab provides high school students with immersive, hands-on experience in computer-aided design (CAD), digital fabrication, rapid prototyping, and mechatronics systems. Students collaborate directly with Volkswagen engineers on real-world facility and production challenges—ranging from automated environmental sensor networks (micro:bit) to custom tooling and mechanical design. Equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routing systems, and electronics workbenches, our lab prepares students for technical careers and higher education in advanced manufacturing.
