Petrovietnam STEM Innovation Lab at Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted is a school-based digital fabrication, STEM education, and innovation space that supports students, teachers, and the wider community in transforming ideas into practical projects and prototypes.

The lab is equipped with digital fabrication and educational technologies, including 3D printers, CNC machines, robotics systems, AI and IoT equipment, interactive displays, and experimental equipment for energy, environmental science, engineering, and scientific research. These facilities enable users to participate in the complete innovation process, from identifying problems and developing ideas to designing, programming, fabricating, testing, and improving prototypes.

The lab supports STEM education, interdisciplinary projects, robotics, programming, digital fabrication, scientific research, teacher training, and innovation activities. Students are encouraged to learn through hands-on projects, collaboration, experimentation, and the responsible use of technology.

The lab agrees with the principles of the Fab Charter and is committed to developing its activities in alignment with the global Fab Lab network. We aim to participate in network activities, share knowledge and projects, collaborate with other Fab Labs, and develop training opportunities for our staff through Fab Academy or compatible programs.

The lab also aims to provide scheduled access to teachers, students from other schools, educational organizations, and community groups through workshops, training programs, collaborative projects, and innovation activities. Through these efforts, we seek to contribute actively to the Fab Lab network and promote digital fabrication, open innovation, and STEM education in Ha Tinh and Vietnam.
The lab is equipped with a wide range of STEM education, robotics, and digital fabrication technologies. Its robotics facilities include VEX IQ and VEX V5 systems, which support students at different levels in learning mechanical design, engineering, programming, automation, and problem-solving through hands-on projects and robotics competitions. The lab also provides 3D printers, CNC machines, AI and IoT equipment, interactive displays, and experimental equipment for energy, environmental science, engineering, and scientific research. These resources enable students to develop ideas, design and program robotic systems, fabricate components, build prototypes, conduct experiments, and improve their products through an iterative engineering design process.
