The FabLab at Yachay Tech University, located in Urcuquí, Imbabura is a space dedicated to digital fabrication and technological innovation. As an active member of the international Fab Lab network, connects our community to a global ecosystem of makers, researchers, and innovators.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, including 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC milling machines, and vinyl cutters, the lab opens up broad opportunities for interdisciplinary work. It aligns naturally with the university's STEAM-focused academic offering — Biology, Biomedicine, Physics, Nanotechnology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, and Geology — enabling students, researchers, and professionals from diverse fields to collaborate on shared projects and turn ideas into tangible results.
