DYLFAB is a digital fabrication and prototyping laboratory based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. It brings together skills, equipment and field needs to generate locally designed solutions.

A shared technical base. The lab provides complementary digital fabrication tools: 3D printing (FDM and resin), laser cutting and CNC machining, electronics, digital design (CAD/DAO), a mechanical workshop, as well as drone and embedded systems prototyping — covering the full cycle "from idea to prototype," from modeling to testing.

Openness and learning by doing. Students, researchers, makers, craftspeople, startups and companies are invited to use the space to learn, prototype and develop useful solutions. DYLFAB offers an Open Lab, workshops and training (CAD, 3D printing, electronics, embedded systems) and collaborative projects that foster knowledge sharing.

A distinctive dual approach. DYLFAB articulates two worlds around shared technologies: open civilian innovation (students, makers, startups, companies) and support for the controlled needs of defense and security, in a protected professional environment, with confidentiality and controlled access for sensitive projects, in compliance with the regulatory framework and intellectual property.

Through its open access, shared equipment and educational purpose, DYLFAB aligns with the spirit of the global Fab Lab network, while retaining its own identity rooted in its field anchoring and dual model.
