DigiComp is an innovative, student-led digital manufacturing laboratory and maker space located in Room 501 at Kalush Polytechnic Vocational College. Set up in a modern loft style, our laboratory serves as a creative hub for engineering students and young makers to turn ideas into physical prototypes.
Our core areas of focus include:
Digital Fabrication & 3D Printing: Complete workflow including FDM calibration, multi-material slicing, and precise part manufacturing using PETG and PLA.
Smart Home & IoT Prototyping: Developing custom automated systems, microcontroller programming, sensor integration, and YAML configuration via ESPHome frameworks.
Industrial Automation: Training students in computer-integrated technologies and electronic engineering.
Following the Fab Lab Charter, DigiComp provides free public access to the college community and local enthusiasts. We are dedicated to open-source knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer learning, and driving tech innovation within our region.
