AIMS @ is an open-access hands-on workstation of Aster Innovation Company Limited @ .
AIMS has started its journey in 2019 to explore the invisible idea to visible prototype and
product making through fabrication tools. AIMS is a free access to public makers with
membership is accompanied by a change in the relationship between public-private
organizations and users in order to promote the women empowerment of the
inhabitants of Bangladesh to these fabrication practices. We strongly believe and
practice in-field and practical solution with local inputs.
AIMS believes that understanding, tinkering and innovating with technologies around us
favours the idea of an active user who makes use of the technologies for his/her own
purposes, instead of being a passive consumer of such technologies. Moreover, AIMS
focusing on learning-by-doing, on STEM subjects with prototyping and on making
designs that can help to foster a link between education, innovation and industry, as
well as real-world applications. Last but not least, AIMS-maker-space aimed also be as
a hub that create a conducive environment as an incubator for future social innovations
and business start-ups.
