PetroVN_THPT_Nguyen Thi Minh Khai_Ha Tinh Fab Lab meets all the requirements of a good fab lab. It has following characters:
- Mobile and Modular Furniture: Heavy, static desks are replaced with height-adjustable tables on wheels. These tables are often shaped like trapezoids or hexagons so they can easily be pushed together for team projects or pulled apart for individual work.
- ​Zoned Ecosystems: A well-designed lab is split into functional "zones":
- ​The Collaboration Zone: Large open tables where teams brainstorm, sketch designs, and assemble projects.
- ​The Presentation/Discussion Zone: An area equipped with an interactive smartboard or projector where teachers deliver mini-lessons or students pitch their prototypes.
- ​The Fabrication/Dirty Zone: A designated area with resilient flooring and sturdy workbenches for heavy building, soldering, or using hand tools.
- ​The Clean/Tech Zone: A row of computer stations or laptop carts dedicated to programming, 3D modeling, and data analysis.
