Clinical Assistant Professor in Digital Fabrication and 3D Modeling

The School of Arts, Media, Engineering (AME), part of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University, seeks outstanding candidates for a Clinical Assistant Professor beginning in fall 2021 in the area of Digital Fabrication and 3D Modeling. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in Digital Fabrication and 3D Modeling. Specific areas of interest may include but are not limited to media arts and sciences, computing sciences, and/or engineering sciences, and new interdisciplinary pedagogical methods. We seek faculty who can bridge state of the art practice and techniques at a professional level with theoretical and technoscientific teaching and research. We particularly welcome candidates interested in transdisciplinary research and learning exemplified by AME’s affiliated labs and centers. The successful candidate is expected to enhance the collaborations between AME and partners in performing arts or in engineering, develop new undergraduate and graduate curriculum, and develop connections to professional practices.
