The Fabrication Lab at ASU MIX Center is a cross disciplinary shared learning Lab designed to promote the experimental use of Digital fabrication technologies within film, immersive media, visual effects, design and the arts. Focused around student, faculty, and community learning the Lab will serve as a resource to guide creative projects from ideation to implementation.

What Is the purpose of the Mix Center Fabrication Lab:

- Experimental, collaborative, and cross disciplinary learning environment. Focused around film, immersive media, story telling, visual effects, design and the arts.
- Facilitate student projects, faculty research, and community engagement workshops.
- Provides users with the necessary tools and equipment to produce tactile objects that help tell stories.
- Promotes and supports the hands on experimentation of digital and traditional fabrication techniques, processes, and materials.
- Provide project assistance throughout the design process and shed light on proper construction techniques and fabrication methods for creative projects.
