Bio

Hi my name is Gary, I'm currently the FabLab Coordinator, the person in charge of the operational and administrative aspects of the lab at EAN university, .

The fablab at the EAN University (EAN lab) specializes in the development of prototypes with an emphasis on electronics, as well as the development of applications and prototypes with virtual reality aid.

Since 2021, the university has focused its efforts on generating a collaborative space for the generation of prototypes using 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies, which allows to enhance the academic and technical capabilities of its students. The laboratory has five different workspaces:

• Prototyping laboratory with an emphasis on digital products, where all the models for 3D printing and virtual reality are made.
• Virtual reality laboratory, where all the developments previously generated can be experienced in an immersive space,
• Prototyping laboratory with electronics emphasis, where we find everything related to 3D printing and electronic equipment in general,
• Prototyping workshop, which is made up of electric and manual tools for working with soft materials.
• Laser cutting and CNC routing where we work with materials such as wood and acrylic.
