FabLab Neukölln is a collaboration between the co-working space Workish Berlin and 42 Berlin, a private and nonprofit computer-science academy. It’s a maker space, creative workshop, and hardware lab, in the heart of Berlin Neukölln. The space is equipped with 3D printers, a laser cutter, an electronics lab, a textile corner, a metal shop and lots more. The 150sqm underground FabLab is split into two sections: a dirt lab with woodworking and metal working equipment, which is perfect for making dust and loud noises. Across the hall, you’ll find a clean lab equipped with a 3D printer, laser cutter, and textile lab where your electronics or more delicate projects can come to life. We are open facility that allows both students and coworkers to learn together and realize their fabrication projects. Our space was created to provide fair access to equipment, training, and community for students, experienced makers, and garage inventors alike. Our goals are to: enable innovation by providing access to tools for digital fabrication, foster a vivid community of makers and entrepreneurs who learn from each other and apply coding skills in the physical world to go beyond "only software".
